At nearly a year and a half of operation, the Consortium’s beginning momentum is rapidly transforming into tangible results. The Glass Center of Excellence has welcomed several collaborative events, many research initiatives are underway, and UToledo’s glass expert, Dr. Zhao, has been fully integrated into NOIC projects. The UToledo glass lab completion is expected later this year, and the NOIC cullet lab equipment has been installed to support various recycling initiatives.
